Although the SCAHMS show is not devoted to flat tin figures, it does not exclude them. After all, Penny Meyer is one of the officers of the society. By the way SCAHMS is the acronym for Southern California Area Historical Miniature Society. It was founded by some of the biggest names in the art of sculpting and painting historical miniatures.

We had our show a couple of weekends ago. I took video of most of the pieces that were entered. Mine is not included, not out of any sense of modesty, but because the film was too blurry. No one needs to see that. I will do things a bit different next year—like include all of the names of the participants. The lighting was not the best, but I think it is better than nothing.

I hope you enjoy these three brief videos and will plan to join us next year. The date has already been set for April 10, 11, 2015 at the LaQuinta Suites in La Palma. We will provide more details as next year approaches.
