I see posts of Roger Newsome’s work on Facebook now and then. Here are a few he has painted recently:

First of all some 30mm French troops from the Franco-Prussian War of 1870 by Johannes Frauendorf.
Roger writes: “Line infantry, Foreign Legion and Chasseurs a pied. Painted in oils and mounted on a wooden base with some static grass applied.”

“This one is a 45mm piece produced by the French figure collectors club AFCFEF.
http://afcfef.fr/ The title is Woerth 1870 and depicts French soldiers at that battle in 6th August 1870.  From left to right, a Zouave, Cuirassier and a Tirailleur Algerien. Again painted in oils.”
“30mm Chasseurs D’Afrique by Christian Carl Cortum Zinnfiguren. http://www.carl-zinnfiguren.de/ Once again painted in oils but this time mounted on a piece of railway model backdrop of sky and framed.”
Thanks, Roger!
