I have a friend in Germany named Marilyne Neurohr. We are internet friends, but I hope to meet her next year at Kulmbach. Marilyne has contributed to this website before. In fact, I just created a new category under her name so you can pull everything with her name into a list. Marilyne sent me 12 pics of pieces painted by Mike Taylor. She tells me Mike has been giving her some tips on painting with oils. (I think it would be hard to get better tips than from Mr. Taylor.)

This constitutes some amazing work. Those who have been in the world of “flats” for any amount of time are probably aware of the influence and impact Mr. Taylor has had on this world. I feel it significantly, and we’ve never met.

Note: The set of Bosch figures will be available for the first time at the World Expo in Italy, in July 2014

All figures above are painted in oils by Mike Taylor.

Thanks Marilyne
