It has been a week or two since I have posted anything. This does not mean that I haven’t been busy. If you have done any exploring of the site you will notice that I have added a category in the main menu—Engravers’ Galleries. The template company for my website just came up with a huge upgrade. WordPress upgraded their system software as well, so there will be a learning curve involved. When I get it up and running, it will be a pleasant and powerful way to view and sort different engravers work. I already have a number of posts on Vladimir Nuzhdin’s work. I also received the permission to post Daniel Lepeltier’s work. These are two of my favorite engravers. I will also try to post some of the work of older engravers like Franz Karl Mohr and Ludwig Franks.
I have also been busy editing five 15 minute videos of Penny Meyer’s latest demonstration at the SCAHMS meeting in January. I was able to film her close up. In fact, through the video I think we are able to see more of what she is doing than she did painting it. Here are the youtube links to Penny’s tutorial.

I learn learn a much just watching Penny paint, but I also enjoyed hearing all the bits of business related to painting she shared with us while she was painting. I hope you enjoy these videos.
