I try to visit “Putty and Paint” daily. (www.puttyandpaint.com). Only the finest painters and sculptors are invited to participate. The rest of us get to look.

I was visiting the site a couple of days ago and immediately recognized work done by Ken Farrar. Ken’s work has been featured on my site numerous times—often enough to warrant his own “category.” I emailed Ken requesting photos of the piece, painted and unpainted. I think you will enjoy it as much as I do. You can order your copy at:  http://www.milmartminiatures.co.uk. Thanks, Ken.

Here are two more from Ken.

The first one is a WW1 Highlander.

The second one is Roza Shanina, a famous WW2 Russian Female Sniper.

If anyone has painted any of Ken’s pieces, send me photos (closerlookbooks@mac.com). Perhaps we can create some kind of gallery featuring his work.

Here is another example of his work, painted expertly by Dennis Mitschke. We conducted an interview with Dennis. You can read the interview here: http://www.flattinfigures.com/dennis-mitschke-painter. If anyone has painted any of Ken’s pieces, send me photos (closerlookbooks@mac.com). Perhaps we can create some kind of gallery featuring his work.
