For me, the show in Kulmbach was like a who’s who in the world of flat tin figures. I was able to meet people I have only corresponded with through email for a few years, but it seemed like I already knew them.
I have featured the work of Eric Talmant and Vladimir Nuzhdin for years. Well, Eric painted one of Vladimir’s pieces, “St. Michael and the Dragon,” not once but three times. We featured that work here.
Eric matted and framed this trio and brought it to the show. Vladimir displayed it at his table.
